Certified in hostile environments, he has led the Syrian War coverage for ITV News and collaborated with top global news organisations. With in-depth experience in chemical weapon attacks, bombardments, and humanitarian crises, Ahmad combines strategic foresight with cultural insight to provide essential services in high-risk journalism and consultancy.

With over 14 years in journalism, I bring extensive on-ground experience covering critical global events, from mass immigration crises' to chemical weapons attacks - on ground. Working alongside esteemed veteran journalists has refined my skills, broadened my perspective, and deepened my commitment to impactful storytelling.

In 2013, while reporting for ITV News as a senior news producer and covering the Assad chemical weapons' attack on Idlib, I was injured in Syria. My team and I were targeted by an Assad regime MIG jet using cluster bombs—a banned weapon. This challenging experience strengthened my resolve to continue in the field, further equipping me with the resilience and skills needed for high-risk reporting.

Today, I am hostile environment certified, with hands-on expertise in war correspondence, writing, editing, translating, and risk assessment. I have also developed further academically by gaining a BA in Journalism (Honours), this has allowed me to report accurately and sensitively on some of the world’s most pressing issues.
