A poetry collaboration between the esteemed Hamad Bin Khalifa University and the Qatar National Library (QNL) was the night’s highlight for the Arabian-rich Doha Capital. Several poets have transformed the night gathering into music and melody to the ears of many attendees, with some distinctive spectators travelling thousands of miles to witness the poetry celebration at the frontline.

The Arabian nationality, and poetry are no strangers to one another. Having registered hundreds of thousands of poetic verses within its unique and impressive timeline of history – the legendary tradition of writing poetry once again continues.

In a world where the exchange of ideas often feels like a distant dream
amidst the chaos of daily life, feelings are developed into a unique
selection and balance of words. Forming a sanctuary of a unique haven
where words become art - cultural exchange blossoms between the distinct
writer and the influenced listener in both on-ground and social media
means.
With thousands of interested listeners in the Arabian Cultural Capital
of Doha, the Qatari poet Ahmad Al Muftah and his Syrian poet counterpart
Anas Al Dogheim have both once again provided elegance by conveying
their touching word selections - poetically.

In addition to Al Muftah’s unique wording ability, he has provided parts of his poetry with the use of a touching Oud melody. By introducing the famous Arabian Oud instrument within his wording captions, it is sure to have touched the feelings of many of his listeners through a cultural method in his hometown of Doha.

For Al Dogheim, a revered Syrian poet from Idlib, the evening was also a triumph - a convergence of souls united to honour the resilience within current events. Through verses spoken with threads of passion and purpose, Al Dogheim's words resonated with many of the listeners - evoking empathy and stirring the hearts of many.

Transported on a journey of discovery and enlightenment, and established
in 2012, QNL has positively provided the platform of timeless art,
culture and poetry for its audience. HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser and HE
Dr Hamad Al-Kawari have both helped maintain and progress this Arabian
heritage by making this Cultural Salon and non-profit organisation
available under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation.
As the echoes of poetry linger the memories of this enchanting event, it continues to embrace the transformative power of the Arabic language, cherishing eachword as a beacon of illumination in the Arabian heritage’s collective pursuit of truth and beauty.
